Retro Rabbit

Async and live sprint retrospectives

Agile Retrospectives That Actually Lead to Change

Your team adds notes while the sprint happens, so retro day starts with everything already on the board.

  • Notes during the sprint. Anyone can add one the moment something happens, in the web app or from Slack.
  • AI grouping and summaries. CarrotIQ groups related notes, summarizes the retro and suggests action items.
  • Action items that carry over. Unfinished items show up in your next retro until they're done.
  • ✓ No credit card
  • ✓ CarrotIQ AI included in the trial
  • ✓ Cancel anytime

How Retro Rabbit works

From the first note of the sprint to the action items your team actually finishes.
  1. Step 1

    Add notes during the sprint

When something goes well or goes wrong, anyone on the team adds a note right away, in the web app or with /retro in Slack. Retro day starts with the whole sprint on the board, not just the last few days people remember.

A retro board mid-sprint: notes in each column and a new note being typed
  2. Step 2

Group, vote and talk it through

Run the retro live or async on a real-time board. Drag related notes together, vote on what matters most and use the shared timer to keep the discussion moving.

Grouped notes sorted by votes, with the avatars of everyone who voted
  3. Step 3

Leave with action items that carry over

Turn the top issues into action items with an owner. Unfinished items show up again in the next retro, under Previous Retro and Old / Unresolved Items, so nothing quietly disappears.

Slack integration

Your team lives in Slack? It works there too

  • Add a note without leaving Slack: type /retro, or /retro and your note.

  • Start the retro with /retro start and follow it in the channel, or open the full board on the web.

  • Get a Slack reminder to add your notes, on the weekdays and at the time you choose.

Included on every plan. Nobody has to use Slack: the web app does everything on its own.

What are the benefits of asynchronous retrospectives with Retro Rabbit?
With asynchronous retrospectives you get all these benefits:
  • Adding retro notes at anytime throughout your sprint allows your team to really get to the problems at hand, not just the ones you remember at the time of your meeting.
  • Save time during your retrospectives, no more waiting around while everyone struggles to remember everything that has happened.
  • Everyone can add notes without their name shown, so the quieter members of the team are heard equally.
  • Because of the streamlined approach, everyone is ready to go as soon as your retrospective starts, allowing you to get deeper and more meaningful insights on how to improve your team and processes.
How can you manage your Retro Rabbit settings?
Retro Rabbit is organized on a per team basis. Each Team Room's settings can be managed on our web app.
How long is each retro?
Since users can submit notes throughout a sprint, you don't need to manage any timelines. Just start a new retro in your Team Room whenever you are ready!
How much does Retro Rabbit cost?
Retro Rabbit is priced per team, not per user. Starter is $30 per team per month, and Pro AI, which adds the CarrotIQ AI assistant, is $40 per team per month. Both include unlimited users and unlimited retros. Enterprise pricing is custom. See pricing for the full comparison.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new team gets a 14-day free trial, and you don't need a credit card to start. Start your free trial.
What does the AI (CarrotIQ) do?
CarrotIQ is Retro Rabbit's AI assistant. It groups related notes and names each group, writes a short summary of each topic and of the whole retro, and suggests action items based on your team's notes and votes. It's included in the Pro AI and Enterprise plans, and in the free trial.
What happens to action items after the retro?
You create action items and assign owners right from the retro. Every board also has Previous Retro and Old / Unresolved tabs, so unfinished action items show up again in the next retro instead of being forgotten.
Do we need Slack to use Retro Rabbit?
No. Retro Rabbit is a full web app: your team adds notes, groups and votes on them, and tracks action items in the browser. If your team uses Slack, the integration lets people add a note without leaving Slack, with the /retro command.
Which retrospective formats can we use?
Retro Rabbit includes five formats: Went well / Didn't go well / Learned / Puzzling, Start / Stop / Continue, Sailboat, Mad / Sad / Glad, and the Four Ls (Liked, Learned, Lacked, Longed for). You can also rename the columns for your team.
How can I reach support?
Email us at support@retrorabbit.io and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
