EasyRetro is the retro board many teams first knew as FunRetro; the name changed in November 2020. It's a simple board with 100+ templates. Its plans are sized by team count (Team covers 1 team, Business 3, Large Business 6 and Enterprise 10 or more), and the free plan allows 1 public board a month.

Teams start looking for EasyRetro alternatives for a few reasons. One public board a month doesn't cover two-week sprints. A fourth team moves you up to a bigger plan. And for many teams the real problem isn't the board at all: notes only get written in the meeting, from memory, and the same action items come up sprint after sprint.

Retro Rabbit is our product, and it's first on this list because it's built for that last problem: notes collected during the sprint, AI that turns them into groups, summaries and suggested action items, and action items that come back until they're done. Four more tools follow with their verified prices and main features. We checked every price and feature on each vendor's own site on October 23, 2026.

1. Retro Rabbit

Retro Rabbit runs async and live sprint retrospectives built around one loop: the team writes notes as the sprint happens, CarrotIQ turns them into groups, summaries and suggested action items, and those action items follow the team into the next retro.

Notes during the sprint. Each team's board stays open all sprint. When something goes well or badly, anyone drops a note in from the dashboard's Quick Notes, or from Slack with /retro if the team uses Slack. By retro day, the board holds the whole sprint, not just what people remember in the meeting.

CarrotIQ, the AI. On Pro AI, and during the trial, CarrotIQ:

  • groups related notes automatically and names each group in a few words
  • writes a short summary of each column plus an overall summary of the sprint
  • suggests action items with "CarrotIQ Suggest", weighting the notes by votes and skipping actions you've already created

Action items that come back. Every board has three action-item tabs: Current Retro, Previous Retro and Old/Unresolved. Each item has an owner, and anything still open shows up again at the next retro until someone marks it complete. In Slack workspaces, you can also send the owner a reminder.

A live board when you meet. See who's connected, drag notes into groups, run a timer from 30 seconds to an hour, and vote with one vote per note or dot voting with a limit per person. Anyone can post notes without their name shown, using a per-person setting.

Formats, history and exports. Five formats are built in: What went well, Start/Stop/Continue, Sailboat, Mad/Sad/Glad and 4Ls, and each team can rename its columns. Every Team Room keeps its past sprints, with CarrotIQ's sprint summary on Pro AI. Each retro's notes export to CSV or XLSX, and the board exports to PDF.

Pricing. Starter is $30 per team per month; Pro AI is $40 and adds CarrotIQ. Each team has unlimited users, so a team of 15 costs the same as a team of 5. The 14-day trial includes CarrotIQ and needs no credit card.

2. Reetro

Reetro, built in Copenhagen, is a retro board with health checks, polls and an Action Tracker that lists every action item from every retro in one place.

Pricing: the free plan covers 3 teams of up to 9 members (a tenth person joins read-only), 10 active boards and one health check a month, with no AI. Pro is $10 per team per month or $100 per team per year, for up to 60 members per team. Pro Unlimited is listed at $49 a month; Reetro's FAQ calls it one price for the whole organisation, while its pricing card says "per team".

Notable features: boards export to CSV, XLSX, DOCX and TXT.

Drawbacks: AI and anonymous retrospectives are Pro features, Pro gets "limited AI features", and Reetro's help center marks its AI as beta.

3. Parabol

Parabol is an open-source meeting tool for retrospectives, Sprint Poker, standups and check-ins. The code is AGPL-licensed and can be self-hosted.

Pricing: the free Starter plan covers up to 2 teams with unlimited users, up to 10 meetings a month and 30 days of meeting history. Team is $8 per active user per month, billed monthly; people who haven't logged in for 30 days aren't billed. Enterprise is custom, on an annual contract.

Notable features: anonymous reflections and a timer.

Drawbacks: on Team, the bill grows with every active person rather than with every team.

4. Neatro

Neatro, from Montréal, runs retros as a guided four-step flow (Comments, Group, Vote, Action Plan) and adds Team Radars for health checks.

Pricing: Premium is $29 per team per month billed monthly, or $23.20 billed annually ($278.40 a year). Pro is $39 monthly or $31.20 annually. A free plan covers one team of up to 10 members.

Notable features: its AI can suggest groups of similar comments for the facilitator to accept.

Drawbacks: the free plan has no exports or integrations and keeps 30 days of history.

5. TeamRetro

TeamRetro, from Australia's GroupMap Technology, covers retrospectives, health checks, estimation and standups, priced by number of teams.

Pricing: Single Team is $25 a month billed monthly, or $250 a year, for up to 25 members. Small Organization covers 3 teams for $60 a month or $600 a year; Large Organization starts at $90 a month or $900 a year for 6+ teams.

Notable features: the trAI assistant is in beta on all plans.

Drawbacks: Single Team stops at 25 members, and guests from outside the team need the Enterprise plan.

Retro Rabbit prices each team on its own: $30 on Starter or $40 on Pro AI per team per month, with unlimited users. That price covers the whole loop described above, from notes during the sprint to action items that carry over.

Why Retro Rabbit is our pick for teams leaving EasyRetro

  • The retro starts before the meeting. Notes written during the sprint mean the discussion is about what actually happened, not what people remember on the day.
  • AI that goes all the way to action items. CarrotIQ groups and summarises the notes, then suggests action items weighted by the team's votes.
  • Follow-through on every board. The Previous Retro and Old/Unresolved tabs put last sprint's promises in front of the team before it makes new ones.
  • One price per team, any team size. Add people freely; only adding a team changes the bill.
  • Async and live in one tool. Collect notes all sprint, then meet for a short live review with a timer and voting.
  • Slack if you want it. Everything works in the web app; Slack adds /retro notes and note reminders for teams that live there.
  • A trial that fits a sprint. 14 days with CarrotIQ included and no credit card.

Moving from EasyRetro to Retro Rabbit

  1. Export your boards first. EasyRetro exports to PDF, CSV, PNG, Excel, DOCX, the clipboard or a Confluence page, and can export several boards to CSV or Excel at once. Free accounts can export any board as PNG or CSV.
  2. Don't wait on old free boards. EasyRetro archives public boards from free accounts after about 1.5 years.
  3. Create one Team Room per team. Invite people by email or share a join link. Each Team Room is billed as one team, whatever its size.
  4. Bring over only what's still open. Keep the exports as your archive, and re-create unfinished action items, each with an owner, in your first retro. From then on they appear in the Previous Retro and Old/Unresolved tabs.
  5. Start on day one of a sprint. The 14-day trial covers one sprint of notes plus the retro. Ask everyone to add a note whenever something goes well or badly.
  6. Cancel last. EasyRetro says you can cancel anytime, so keep it until your first Retro Rabbit retro is done.

The bottom line

If you're leaving EasyRetro because retros don't lead to change, try Retro Rabbit with one team for one sprint: notes during the sprint, CarrotIQ to group and summarise them, and action items that come back until they're done. For a side-by-side view, see Retro Rabbit vs EasyRetro, or compare the wider field in the best retrospective tools. See plans and start a 14-day trial, no credit card needed.
